Services unavailability experienced on 22 June 2025
On 22 June 2025, between 3:00 a.m. and 20:49, a DNS resolution issue disrupted both restena.lu and lu-cix.lu servers managed by Restena. During this time, some of the services offered by Restena couldn’t be reached by some users.
The technical malfunction could be identified as a DNSSEC issue that triggered access failure with cascading effects on various services - both Restena and LU-CIX services.
Neither information nor data has been lost during the incident and all services have now been restored.
