SECURING FUTURE DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS

Deploying quantum key distribution (QKD) on existing network infrastructures to secure digital communications in the future is the focus of many research projects. Among them, the European project LUX4QCI led by the SnT, the Interdisciplinary Center for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg, intends to provide the first experimental quantum communication infrastructure network in Luxembourg. A project partner, Restena provides parts of its national backbone shared by the Luxembourg research and education community. Read more

NEW PLATFORM FOR THE REGISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF .LU DOMAIN NAMES

As part of its activity as an accredited registrar for .lu, Restena has modernized its online platform for the registration and management of .lu domain names, benefiting people using online management of their domain names. my.lu/online is now more intuitive, user-friendly and more secure. ANALYSING AND ADAPTING ONLINE HABITS

Raising awareness among Luxembourg's research and education community is crucial for reducing exposure to cybersecurity threats. The Restena Foundation has trained its staff using the Luxembourg Cyber Range virtual training environment provided by the Directorate of Defence, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Read more

A NEW ADMINISTRATIVE CHAPTER FOR RESTENA

After 22 years heading Restena's administration, Romain Marx, the foundation's first administrative manager, passed the baton to Julien Franck. The new head of administration and finance has taken up the challenge and will contribute as of now to Restena's new administrative chapter. Read more
