RESTENA eduroam access - Setup Instructions (Intel)

If you use a Intel Centrino chipset computer and are using the "Intel PRO/Set Wireless" configuration tool (this is the case if the following icon Intel taskbar icon is in your computer's task bar), please follow the instructions below to set up eduroam on your computer.

  1. Download the two network profiles below
    Profile for SSID eduroam
    Profile for SSID eduroam-school
  2. Double-click on the network profiles
    [There will be no dialog box, the installation is completely silent. If you double-click more than once, you will be informed that the network profile is already imported]
  3. The next time you are in the vicinity of an eduroam network, you will be prompted for your username and password (screenshot).
    Username: Your RESTENA e-mail address
    Password: Your RESTENA password
  4. Click "OK". You will be connected to the eduroam network.

Note: using this installer will help protect your privacy by concealing your identity (email address) from the hotspot. Your identity will only be known to RESTENA.
