The VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a method of connecting to the network in a secure way. A work station connected via a "Virtual Private Network" is considered to form an integral part of the internal network. All the Intranet resources of the network thus remain available.
VPN access is required by users that are connected outside the RESTENA network and want to access internal services that are not directly available on networks other than RESTENA. (i.e. Scolaria, Fichiers élèves, Gestion du bac, etc.)
Test if you need the VPN service from your actual connection!
How to establish a VPN connection ?
- Connect to the Internet from your usual operator.
- Once the connection is established, connect to the VPN server with your previously installed VPN client.
- After authentication, (RESTENA username and password), a secured connection is established.
- You work station is now "virtually" integrated into the RESTENA network and can access all the internal resources.
